At 2249hrs on Saturday, 08 July 2006 a foot patrol of the Royal Falkland Islands Police came upon a disturbance between three people in front of the Globe Tavern. Officers calmed the situation down and then observed two males involved in a minor dispute in front of the POD Gift Shop. The men were given virbal warnings and sent on their ways.

Sergeant Dave Roberts told FINN about a new piece of equipment recently obtained by the Royal Falkland Islands Police. It is a Pro-laser 3 - a laser operated speed metre. It can give an accurate reading from 1,200 yards. Seeing that it is a laser, it cannot be detected on your fuzz buster, so be warned!
