Volunteer Point Wardens
Two voluntary wardens are required for Volunteer Point over the summer of 2003/04. A couple will be given preference over individual applicants, however all applicants need to be practically minded, self-sufficient, able to cope with living alone for prolonged periods, to be approachable and friendly and be familiar with Falkland Island bird species, with the ability to make detailed bird counts and other relevant observations. This vacancy is for a period of 5-6 months commencing mid October 2003, however there is some flexibility in these dates. All applicants will be expected to work as part of the Falklands Conservation team prior to their departure for Volunteer Point and spend time in the office from time to time. All food, travel, and accommodation will be provided as part of the position.
