Stanley saw PINK on Sunday when 171 members of the public wore all shades of the colour and ran in support of breast cancer awareness. Pink runners also took over the MPA Road from a starting point in Fitzroy, where there was an amazing turn out of over 71 people and 14 dogs and on the west at Hill Cove, three people dawned pink and ran. Not to be outdone by this, six people from Pebble Island, including Clara McKay, 90, did their bit for breast cancer awareness and research. Fox Bay village and Port Stephens gave up 21 people for the cause and at Goose Green, 16 runners, 2 dogs and a goat wore pink and ran the 5km in aid of the charity.
