Thank you Mr Speaker, Honourable Members first of all I would just like to associate myself with comments earlier on Camp Sports and I would like to thank the Attorney General as well both as an MLA for a few months but previously as an Officer 2.5 years previously I found him very supportive and straight forward and some great advice and I really appreciate it.
Just a couple of other quick issues firstly I would like to thank my Honourable Colleagues for allowing me to be the statistical lead on the formation of a credit union hopefully to do some work on it for the rest of this year on the case for this and getting into the detail of its feasibility. It is an important issue and there is definitely a need for it as we have seen from the feedback already. I would like to thank my friends from FIDC, team particularly for the work they have done on this and I look forward to having it pushed forward for the next few months.
On a similar positive note I would like to thank a small group of people who have done a lot of work in recent weeks on Cape Pembroke. It is a group who have taken to calling themselves the common sense group, which I think is very apt. I have come up with a very brief paper members will be seeing shortly, talking about how we can better manage the Cape Pembroke area so that its there for future generations and we can all enjoy it in a sustainable manner which I think is most needed. I think there are some practical things we can do through the budget process that I think will be some very positive steps and just seeing that achieved. Thank you Mr Speaker,
I support the Motion.
